My love for line dancing began in 2011 after attending my first evening Social and ever since then, I have enjoyed dancing and helping others on the floor.  After a few years of volunteering my talents at other classes and showcases, I was blessed with teaching my own classes in Fort Washington & Clinton, MD.  During my tenure in the line dance community, I’ve managed to choreograph and collaborate on quite a few dances that have been nominated for East Coast Dance of the Year. The highlight of my line dance years came when my line dance “sister” and I won the award for 2018 Sleeper line dance of the Year – “BOOM” at the 2018 Annual UC Awards!

In addition to teaching class, I also assist my line dance group Bout Dat Dance (BDD) with instructing workshops, performing various acts of community service, hosting local socials, and line dance weekend events. I have also had the pleasure to instruct line dance workshops at other popularly attended out-of-town events held in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, California & New York.

Although my involvement in the line dance community keeps me very busy, I truly enjoy what I do and spending time with both my beautiful family and my line dance family!
